keratinocyte

Keratinocyte Cells are the most common skin cells, 90% of them are located on the out layer of the skin. The Keratinocyte Cells work as a barrier that protect the under skin layer tissue and nerves. This barrier can be found everywhere in our body, such as skin, hair, and nails, they are all made by keratin protein which produced by Keratinocyte Cells. Creative bioarray provides multiple types of Keratinocyte Cells growth media such as Human Keratinocyte Stem Cell Media, Epidermal Keratinocyte 3D Prime Medium, Defined, Epidermal Keratinocyte Medium, Defined, Calcium Free and PCT Epidermal Keratinocyte Medium, Low BPE, Calcium Free etc.

SuperCult® Keratinocyte Growth Medium Kit-CD is the only medium of its kind on the market today and can be used for a variety of applications associated with skin research, wound healing and dermal disorders. The Basal Medium, Supplement Kit and the Medium Kit allow customers the same flexibility as other Clonetics™ Media Products.

Serum-free, non-animal origin and chemically defined
Designed to support isolation and growth of primary human keratinocytes
Packaged in a convenient Medium Kit format with basal medium and all supplements needed for growth and proliferation

Keratinocyte Growth Medium Kit-CD is also able to support growth and proliferation of both adult and neonatal primary human dermal keratinocytes as compared to our non-defined Medium - determined by total population doublings (total PDLs). There was excellent lot-to-lot consistency for each media tested where the Medium supported nearly 25 population doublings in our testing while still maintaining normal keratinocyte characteristics.

This media system is a complete, optimized system for isolating and growing primary human keratinocytes. Note: Coating plates with fibronectin or other non-animal derived matrix material is necessary for successful keratinocyte isolations with Keratinocyte Growth Medium Kit-CD medium.

Creative Bioarray Media Products are specially designed to support the growth of human and animal primary derived cells. Media systems have been specifically developed and optimized for various cell systems.
